Understanding your warranty timeline helps you maximize your coverage.

  • Start Date: Date you receive the product, not the order date
  • Proof Required: Original invoice or proof of purchase showing date
  • Claiming Period: Claims must be filed within the 5-year period

After the 5-year warranty period expires, we still offer repair services for a fee. Contact us for pricing on out-of-warranty repairs.

How the Warranty Timeline Works:

  • Years 2-5: Full coverage for structural and mechanical defects
  • After Year 5: No warranty coverage, repairs available for fee

  • Product model number and serial number (if applicable)
  • Date of purchase
  • Clear photos of the defect
  • Detailed written description of the problem
  • Contact information (email and phone)

Important

Do not attempt DIY repairs before contacting us. Unauthorized repairs may void your warranty. Always contact our support team first.

6. Care & Maintenance

Proper care extends the life of your product and helps maintain warranty coverage.

Daily Care:

  • Wipe Dry: After use, wipe fixtures dry with a soft cloth to prevent mineral buildup
  • Gentle Handling: Use products gently – avoid excessive force or strain
  • Avoid Abrasives: Never use scouring pads or harsh brushes on surfaces

Weekly Cleaning:

  • Use only mild soap and warm water
  • Use soft, non-abrasive cloths or sponges
  • Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately
  • Check for any leaks or loose connections

Products to Avoid:

  • Never use: Vinegar, bleach, or acidic cleaners on certain finishes
  • Avoid: Harsh chemical cleaners or degreasers
  • Don’t use: Abrasive powders or sanding materials
  • Never expose: Products to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods

Maintenance Schedule:

  • Monthly: Clean aerator screens and inspect for debris
  • Quarterly: Check all connections and seals for tightness
  • Annually: Inspect hoses and supply lines for wear
  • As Needed: Address any leaks or issues immediately

Pro Tip: Hard Water Areas

If you have hard water, you may see mineral deposits. Gently soak affected areas in white vinegar overnight to dissolve deposits. This is normal wear, not a defect.

7. Warranty Transfer

If you’re selling your home or transferring ownership of a product, you may be able to transfer the warranty.

Can I Transfer My Warranty?

The original 5-year warranty is non-transferable by default. However, the remaining warranty period may apply to the new owner under certain conditions:

Warranty Transfer Requirements:

  • Original proof of purchase must be provided by original owner
  • Product must be in original, unmodified condition
  • No previous warranty claims on the product
  • Transfer request must be submitted to us in writing
  • New owner must register as the account holder

How to Transfer:

  1. Contact warranty@aquaart.ca with the transfer request
  2. Provide original proof of purchase and new owner information
  3. Submit written consent from original owner
  4. We’ll confirm transfer and issue new warranty documentation

Extended Warranty Options

If you’re looking for extended protection beyond 5 years, contact our sales team about extended warranty plans that may be available for your product.
